According to Cryptoglobe, a french news outlet, 30 French retailers, which include giants like Decathlon and Sephora, will support Bitcoin payments in more than 25,000 sales points. While the payments will be made in Bitcoin, funds will be automatically converted into euros at the moment of sale.

This new adoption that enables consumers to use their cryptocurrency in France are great news for the estimated 4 million French crypto owners. We hope more stores and services realize they should start supporting bitcoin and other cryptos. Even when they prefer to receive in fiat currencies, they can benefit from more secure transaction with lower costs and still receive in their preferred currency while using payment methods like CapPay.
