Tag Heuer will accept Bitcoin

Tag Heuer, a Swiss luxury watch brand, has announced that it will accept bitcoin as a payment option.

The company's new payment option became a reality thanks to a collaboration with payment service provider BitPay.

There will be no minimum spend requirements and up to $10,000 per transaction will be allowed. The new option will allow payment of the main cryptocurrency wallets: Exodus Wallet, Ledger Wallet and among others.

The company's CEO, Frédéric Arnault, stated that the company has paid attention to Bitcoin since its birth and that the recent ups and downs of the cryptocurrency market have not changed its view of cryptocurrencies as a transformative technology and took the opportunity to say that the announcement was just the beginning of the onslaught on Web3.
