The US trade deficit narrowed 8.2 percent in November 2019 from the previous month to $ 43.09 billion, reaching its lowest level in three years, according to seasonally adjusted data released today by the US Department of Commerce. Analysts polled by The Wall Street Journal predicted a slightly larger trade deficit in November of $ 43.60 billion.

The negative balance of the October balance was revised downward from $ 47.20 billion to $ 46.94 billion. US exports rose 0.7% YoY to $ 208.63 billion in November, while imports fell 1% YoY to $ 251.72 billion.
